Live Gig and the Market of San Telmo

Last night I went to a live music gig with some of the guys from the hostel. It was quite a random mix of music, with bands playing everything from jazz to ska, as well as a performing group of drummers. It was so different to anything I´d been to at home, and we didn´t leave until 5am.

This morning I then walked to the district of San Telmo with a guy from my hostel to visit the famed Sunday markets. We met up with the Australian girl, Lauren, who also had her baggage lost on the same flight as me. We then spent hours walking down the endless streets of stalls, with people selling their handmade wears. I bought so many presents for people I don´t know where I´m going to store it all…

After hours in the market we went ended up in Plaza de Mayo, and took some pictures. Starving, we then got some lunch (a rather dodgy chicken sandwich), then afterwards me and Lauren went into McDonalds and bought McFlurries – which was only exciting because they do a Milka one here!
